Shemayah says, "Love work"

Shemayah and Avtalyon received (the Tradition) from them. Shemayah says: "Love work and hate high positions".

The sofer (scribe) in the picture takes pride in what he does. Do not be ashamed to do work with your hands. Love your work. The work you do will give you self respect, and that is the only respect that is worthwhile.
