A good wife looks for work and does more than she is expected to do. The

cheerfully. She is not lazy (Metzudas David). “Looks for wool and linen" could also
mean, she “checks for” Shaatnez - a mixture of wool and linen which when found in a
garment is not allowed to be worn . She is careful to make sure that her work will
not involve any sins (Tochechos Chaim).
