Her husband is well-known in the gates, when he sits with the wise men of t he land.

The “gates” are speaking about the meeting places of important people. (Metzudas David). In past history, the judges used to sit by the gates of the city. He sits with the wise men because of his Eishes Chayil (Ibn Ezra). Her husband stands out among these men because of the beautiful clothes she made him. (Metzudas David, Rashi). Also, he has earned the right to “sit with the wise” and give advice, because his Eishes Chayil helped and encouraged him to learn and become a Talmid Chacham (Malbim).
