Charm is false and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Hashem s hould be praised!

Her family praises her for her good qualities, not for her beauty which has no value (Ibn Ezra).

Charm and beauty, which are gifts from Heaven, do not tell us about a person's character. Only a woman's fear of Hashem, deserves to be praised publicly. (Me'am Lo'ez).
