THE NAME OF HASHEM SHOULD BE SAID WITH CONCENTRATION
When a person looks at the name of Hashem that is never pronounced,
he should think about two things.
First, when saying the name (Ado-nai) Master of the Universe, he should
think about the way the name is written and pronounced. When saying the name
(Elo-him), he should have in mind that Hashem is all powerful. He can do
anything and everything. When saying the name of Hashem (Ado-nai), he should
think about the fact that Hashem was, is, and always will be.
If a person starts to say a bracha when he does not need to, since he already
used the name of Hashem, the bracha can be finished with the posuk in Tehillim
that reads: "Boruch Atah Hashem Lamdayni Chukecha." This will keep him from
accidentally saying the name of Hashem. He should always try his best not to say
Hashem's name for no reason.
