Learning
brings to doing Mitzvos.

"Learning is great, because
learning leads to doing. (Kiddushin 40B) The Rif
explains two lessons in this statement:
1) The person who acts may never come to learn,
but learning will lead a person to action. Two
Mitzvos are better than one.
2) A person should not stop learning in order to
do good deeds, but the more he learns, the more
he will realize the value of Mitzvos. He will
then look for ways to do Mitzvos when he is not
learning. |
