DIVIDING THE TWO LOAVES OF BREAD

He cuts a large piece, slices it up, dips each piece and divides it up among his wife and everyone present. The two whole loaves (Lechem Mishneh) represent the double portion of manna that fell for the Jews in the desert on Fridays (Shemos 16). The Bracha is: Baruch...ha-olam ha-motzi lechem min ha-aretz.
