THE CHECKING OF TZITZIS

Tzitzis should always be checked to make sure that there are eight strings. These strings should not be torn by the hole. A person should also separate all of the strings so that they are not tangled up. If he checks the Tzitzis when he puts them away, then it is not necessary for him to check them the next morning.
