ORDER OF REMOVING TEFILLIN
First the straps around the fingers are unwrapped, next come the Tefillin of
the head (Rosh), and then the Tefillin of the arm (Yad). The Tefillin of the head
should be taken off with the left hand to show that he is not in a rush to take them
off. If a person is left-handed, the Tefillin should be taken off with the right hand.
The Tefillin of the head should be put inside the bag, on the right side of the bag.
Then, the Tefillin of the arm should be put in the bag, on the left side. He should
be careful about putting the Tefillin of the arm in the bag. It should be done in
such a way, that the next morning they can easily be taken out of the bag first.
